Investigative Requests Using Recovery Act Funding
On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) into law. The Act requires all Federal agencies to immediately implement requirements and guidelines to effectively manage all funding activities associated with the Recovery Act. Because of these new guidelines, the Federal Investigative Services Division (FISD) will now be required to account for all Recovery Act funding received from Federal agencies for the reimbursement of investigative services. To assist our organization with the accounting of these funds, we are implementing a new requirement for investigative services requesting under the funding authority of the Recovery Act.
