Training for Hiring Officials and HR Specialists on Hiring People with Disabilities:

Location: Ronald Reagan Building

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) are collaborating with 50 other Federal agencies to sponsor and organize a daylong historic Federal Government-wide Hiring Event for individuals with disabilities on April 26, 2010, at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.
In order to support this Hiring Event in April, there is a training session scheduled for February 9, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., to provide hiring officials and HR Specialists with the tools necessary to develop an improved pipeline and process for hiring and retaining people with disabilities.

Hiring Fair:

Agencies who would like to participate in the hiring fair should submit the name and email address of a point-of-contact to April.Davis@opm.gov  by February 12, 2010.
