MEMORANDUM FOR CHIEF HUMAN CAPITAL OFFICERS
From:
John Berry
Director
Subject:
Senior Executive Association Survey for GS-14 and GS-15 Employees
As you know, this week marks the 30th Anniversary of the creation of the Senior Executive Service (SES), the cadre of senior civil service leaders responsible for achieving their agencies’ results and creating high-performing organizations through effective leadership of the men and women who serve our Nation through federal employment.

The Senior Executive Association (SEA) has informed me of a number of special events they are organizing to mark the Anniversary. As you know, the SEA is a professional organization dedicated to representing members of the SES. As part of its celebrations, the SEA is launching a governmentwide survey on July 17, 2009 to assess current GS-14 and GS-15 managers and supervisors’ perspectives on serving at the highest level of their organizations. The survey can be accessed at the SEA website, www.seniorexecs.org. The survey results will be more meaningful if notice of the survey is widely distributed to your GS-14 and GS-15 employees and participation is encouraged.

Should you have any questions concerning the survey, please contact the SEA at (202) 927-7000.
