Tools Workshop: Sustaining, Shaping and Recruiting Your Future Workforce

Date: Wednesday, February 15, 2012

Time: 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Address: Partnership for Public Service building

1100 New York Avenue, NW, Suite 200 East

Washington, DC 20005

The Office of Personnel Management, in coordination with the Partnership for Public Service, invites you and up to two of your senior Human Resources professionals to an afternoon of workshops showcasing tools to assist you with various restructuring challenges.  Agencies have volunteered to share their tools and strategies covering four topics:

·         The workforce you need – strategic workforce planning

·         The workforce that stays – sustaining morale and increasing workforce effectiveness

·         The workforce that will move on – shaping and managing reductions

·         The workforce you must attract – recruitment, hiring, and retention during constrained fiscal periods

Each workshop will be repeated three times during the afternoon to ensure an opportunity to attend the ones most important to you and your agency.  Contacts for each tool/strategy will be provided for additional information.

Attached is the agenda for the afternoon.

Space is limited to a maximum of 80 total participants so register today!

Please register with the Partnership for Public Service at

NOTE:  This session is a follow-on to the Partnership for Public Service and Booz/Allen/Hamilton morning session for senior agency leadership discussing these four topics.
