Preparation for National Political Campaigns in Boston and New York City

As we approach the Republican National Convention in New York City and the Democratic National Convention in Boston, it is essential that Federal agencies prepare for possible disruptions in traffic and commutingpatterns as a result of security precautions. Reducing the number of Federal employees traveling to or through restricted areas will also assist those agencies charged with providing security for the conventions. The U.S.

Nominations for Financial Management Improvement Awards

The Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) is a cooperative undertaking of the Office of Personnel Management, Department of the Treasury, Office of Management and Budget, and the Government Accountability Office, working in cooperation with Federal agencies, to improve financial management in government. As Chair of the JFMIP Principals, I would like to inform you that we are currently seeking nominations for the Donald L. Scantlebury Memorial Award, which recogniizes distinguished senior executive leadership in financial management improvement in the public sector.
