The Puerto Rico League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), American GI Forum of the United States, and ASPIRA Association will host a Veterans Summit from March 1 – 3, 2012, in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico. The theme of the Veterans Summit is “A New Strategy – Integrating Education, Employment, and Entrepreneurship for OEF and OIF Veterans,” and the focus of the conference is aimed at aligning solutions to meet employers and Veterans needs.
The Puerto Rico LULAC Veterans Summit qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. This event is open to all Federal employees and will include sessions focused on areas such as Veterans Employment, Veterans Business Enterprise, and the National Veterans Internship Program. The conference will also feature guest speakers who hold various Senior Executive Service (SES) roles within the Federal government.
